The trump Agencies
The Trump Cabinet is one of the least diverse in recent memories - and plagued by political drama, palace intrigue, and personal controversy.
Of 24 permanent agencies heads appointed thus far, only three have been women, two currently. Only two members of the Trump Cabinet are minorities. A number of these Cabinet members have been either fired (Mattis, Sessions, Shulkin, and Nielsen) or pushed out over ethical breaches (Zinke, Acosta, and Price), or innuendo (Perry).
One agency in particular, perhaps one of the most critical - Homeland Security - has had two permanent heads and three acting heads in only three-and-one-half years in office. The instability has been staggering, especially in an administration the electorate was told would be one of the most stable and talented ever assembled.
As President Trump approaches the end of his term in office, here are the leaders who have led the 45th President’s federal agencies, and thus, served in the President’s Cabinet.
